• In 1887, Columbia was formed, which to say to this day remains the oldest label in the recording industry

Columbia Records

• Columbia Records was founded in 1887, Columbia Records is the oldest surviving brand name in prerecorded sound 
• Columbia Records went on to release records by an array of singers, instrumentalist and groups. From 1961 to 1990.
• Its recordings were released outside the US and Canada on the CBS Record Labels before adopting the name Columbia in most of the World 
• Today it is a subsidiary label of Sony Music Entertainment. Its roster features some of the most famous names in music history alongside some of the finest cutting edge artists in the world today
• In the UK it is led by Joint president Alison Donald and Mark Terry.

Intertextuality 3

Katy Perry "Last Friday Night" video includes intertextual references with there being credits in the start and at the end of the video and out takes, creating a film like effect
This is showing the way the music video is creating a film like effect as Katy Perry is just waking up and reliving all the things she went through last night hence the name of the song is "Last Night" the clothes she is wearing is very colourful and even the surrondings she is currently in and even the party the host is dressed in a colourful outfit and so is the party.
The 80s were always known to be a colourful period as this below is an original dress from the 80s and this is where artist Katy Perry was inspired to add it into her music video

Intertexuality 2

This is taken from the Music video of Robbie Williams "You Know Me" this is showing him wearing a rabbits head and dancing around he has got this idea from the scene below in the Disney Movie Alice in Wonderland

This is just showing where Robbie Williams might have gotten this idea to dress up as a rabbit with a stick and a brown coat all from the film Alice In Wonderland, This has been used because this will appeal to a larger scale audience as Robbie Williams videos are tended to be watched by older females.
This will also appeal to the younger girls and younger women making him get more views from a vast range of audience

This Is From The Music Video "Monster" by Meek Mill Shot In 2015, This is the one of the main scenes in the 90s film "Paid In Full" when the two men are having an argument about who has more money



This is the from the film Paid in Full made in the 90s , the scenes are very identical as they are both also arguing who has the better car and money

This outfit was inspired by Afrobeats pop artist Wizkid as he wore this in one of he`s famous video "Ojuelegba" and i like this style of costume because it is plain but very stylish and a lot of famous brands are included in the dress code also we chose this clothing because it will apply to our audience, very easy to get and it goes against the pop conventions codes

GRM Daily - GRM Daily is a very popular company that produces and records songs for young artists so that they can be known only the best of the best get noticed by the BBC1Extra studio producer Charlie Sloth and he scouts them from channels such as GRM Daily.
